Texas A&M Chemist Jonathan Sczepanski Exploring Genetic Frontiers to Improve Human Health

Sep 28, 2021
"The two grants actually focus on very different topics. The first, awarded solely to my group, focuses on understanding the pathways responsible for the chemical modification of our DNA, which is important in both normal biology and disease, including cancer. The other is a collaborative grant with a team from the Salk Institute in California which focuses on developing novel genetic systems that functions in fundamentally different ways than known biology."
